Who am I?
Hello there and welcome. My name is Greg Nejedly and I’m a clinical hypnotherapist based in Bristol, South West England. I am passionate about helping people just like you get rid of the problems you’re currently experiencing and move forward in life, leaving those worries behind you.
I help people in my practice with a wide range of issues from panic attacks, stress, confidence, self-esteem, social phobias and much more.
Sometimes we feel as if there is no hope, as if the very problems we are experiencing are things we have to accept and put up with. But your mind is a fascinating vessel which creates your own realities and the subconscious is extremely powerful.
Through our sessions together, you will appreciate the power of the subconscious and how you can essentially re-program that part of your mind to discover new ways of thinking and feeling, helping you leave your problems behind and look towards the future in a more positive manner.
I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy in the UK, which require a high standard of achievement and ensure a strict code of ethics and a high standard of practice.

What happens during your online hypnotherapy sessions?
Each Skype session is 50 minutes in length.
Around half the session is spent discussing your progress and how you would like things to be and half the session is spent in hypnosis where much of what we talk about is communicated to your subconscious through carefully constructed hypnotic suggestions to help create desired change.
I use an extremely positive and forward looking model of therapy called Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This approach takes the view that we do not have to be slave to our emotional past. Instead, we recognise we are where we are and accept the future can be different based on the changes we make in the here and now.
We don’t have to trawl through all of your childhood memories to seek out the ‘root cause’ of a problem.
You will also learn how the brain functions and why you behave the way you do. As well as this you will receive a ‘Deep Relaxation’ mp3 to listen to, which helps reduce general anxiety.
How many sessions will I need?
This is a question I get asked a lot, and I cannot give you a definitive number as each person is different and progresses at their own rate. But to give you an idea, I can see people for 10 or more sessions for general anxiety and even longer for depression. If you’re looking to treat panic attacks, you may need less than this.
Overcoming a phobia takes around 4 sessions.
Our objective is to get things moving as quickly as possible and many people will already notice changes occurring within the first 3 sessions. As you progress through each week, you will reach a stage where you recognise you are exactly where you wanted to be and will feel confident enough to carry on without my help.
After your consultation, you will have a much better understanding of how hypnotherapy can help you overcome your problems. We can then arrange your weekly sessions for the following weeks. Over time, you may even find your aims and objectives change and your therapy will be uniquely tailored to your needs to ensure you get the best treatment available.
What is hypnosis and is it safe?
Hypnosis allows us to communicate with the subconscious mind where all our habits, attitudes and beliefs are stored. So it makes sense that if we want to create desirable change, we should utilise the subconscious.
Hypnosis is 100% safe, so there really isn’t anything to worry about. You can never get stuck in hypnosis. You do not go unconscious, in fact all your senses are heightened. Typically you will experience feelings of heaviness or lightness as you enter into a relaxing state.
I have hypnotised many people over Skype and it’s just as effective as if you were in the room with me. The hypnotic state is very relaxing in and of itself. It provides an opportunity for your mind and body to relax like nothing else.
During the hypnotic state, carefully constructed suggestions are made to the subconscious in line with your goals and objectives. You cannot be forced to do anything that is against your moral judgement and your subconscious can be selective as to which suggestions it accepts.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
Please note that you should book a 30 minute phone consultation with me first. It allows me to better understand your situation while providing you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

Payment for your first hypnotherapy session will be collected at the end of your phone consultation. All successive weekly sessions will be prepaid one week in advance at the end of each session. This means you will pay for session 2 at the end of session 1, for session 3 at the end of session 2 and so on.
All payments will be processed using SquareUp which uses the highest level of encryption. You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Visa and Electron.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to re-arrange or cancel an appointment, please allow at least 24 hours notice as this helps with scheduling. If you amend or cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the session fee.

What you will need for your online sessions
Our online hypnotherapy sessions will be carried out using Skype. I will video call you at the scheduled appointment time.
- A Skype account (you can set up a free account here)
- A webcam to enable video chat
- A pair of earphones/headphones (to use during hypnosis)
- A comfortable chair to sit on
- A quiet space where you won’t be disturbed for up to an hour
You will also need a pair of headphones to drown out any background noise while I hypnotise you online.
